Diamond Marine Services offers a unique service with experienced National Maritime Center trained evaluators on our credential consulting team. If you are preparing an application for an original USCG 6 Pack or Master, we can help you! If you already hold a license and are tired of sifting through CFRs and NMC checklists wondering if you have enough sea time or completed the necessary requirements for an upgrade, we can help you! Have you experienced delays or even have a license expire due to an issue with a previous application? Our experienced team works hard to make this complicated process easy for you!

Diamond Marine Services not only takes all the hassle out of applying for an original license, raise-in-grade, modification or renewal, we formally evaluate your application by a professional using the same process as the NMC. We submit your credential with the USCG and support you until it is issued.

How does this work?

We keep our costs low by handling the entire process electronically. From document collection to application submission, everything is done online. Paper applications submitted to our office are subject to extra charges. Throughout the process, our staff is available via email, phone or text to help you along the way. We encourage you to interact with our team and have real help, from real experts, every step of the way!

Phase 1 - Get Started!

If you are a new client, we get things rolling by completing two simple steps:

1. Hit the START button below and register a new password protected profile. Once registered, complete the START form to get our team the required information to pre-fill the application for you

2. Complete the payment step through our secure payment gateway or reach out to our team to make the payment if you are unsure of what payment to make or if you have any questions!

If you are an existing client returning to renew or upgrade your credential, please reach out to our team via phone, text or email and we will point you in the right direction!

Phase 2 - Roadmap and Portal Uploading

Once our team receives your START form and payment, we will send you a roadmap via email.

1. Follow the step by step instructions to complete the tasks outlined in your roadmap. Our team loves helping you and remains available every step of the way should you have any questions about ANY of the required tasks.

2. Upload your required documents to your secure portal.

3. After you have completed the roadmap and uploaded your documents, please let our team know by hitting the “FUSE MY APPLICATION” button in your portal. Our team will work to prepare your application and then send you a punch list of any items that need to be adjusted.

Phase 3 - Submit and support your application

Once your application is reviewed by our team, we submit your application to the USCG and remain available every step of the way until your license is in your hand! As a reminder, our team remains by your side every step of the way!
