Refund Policy

Thanks for trusting Diamond Marine Services to help you! Please know that we are very approachable, reasonable and easy to deal with! Our credit card company has required us to have a refund policy posted so we had to come up with something. If you let us know what you’re up against, we will always do our best to work with you!

Refunds for TOAR Assessment fees

Deposits made are refundable within 7 days of initial purchase. After 7 days time, any deposit made will be fully honored toward participation in any TOAR assessment session with no expiration date provided that a mariner inform Diamond Marine Services at least 2 days prior to canceling participation in a TOAR assessment session.

All TOAR assessment session balances shall be fully paid 2 days prior to an scheduled session. There is no refund offered to TOAR assessment session fees after the class has started.

NOTE: If a mariner contacts us PRIOR to the start of a session and cannot attend due to an extraordinary circumstance, we will gladly honor all fees paid towards a session in the future with no expiration date.

Refunds for Credential Consulting fees

Any fees paid for credential consulting are non refundable if work on the mariner’s file has started. If a fee is paid for a service for which the mariner does not qualify, excess fees will be refunded to the mariner. If an application cannot be made due to sea service requirements not being met, Diamond Marine Services will gladly hold the credentialing fees for the mariner, with no expiration date, until such time that a proper application can be made.
